Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and addresses.
• Move details: dates, addresses, inventory, access notes, and photos or documents you share with us.
• Communications: texts, emails and portal messages between you and us, and notes from our calls with you.
• Text messaging consent: when you agreed to texts, the number you gave, and the wording you agreed to.
• Payments: amounts, dates and payment method type. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't receive or store your full card number.
• Technical information: your IP address and browser details, used to protect our forms from spam and to keep sign-in secure.

How we use it

• to prepare quotes, schedule and carry out your move, and provide storage
• to send invoices and receipts and take payments
• to contact you about your move by phone, email and, if you agreed, text message
• to answer your questions and resolve problems
• to keep records we are required to keep, and to meet legal obligations

Text messaging

We text you only if you agreed to receive texts, and only about your move. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Details are in our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Our service providers (below) handle your number only to deliver our messages to you, and may not use it for anything else.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with MoveCrafter, the software platform we use to run our business, which stores our customer records and sends our texts and emails on our behalf, and with the providers it relies on to deliver texts and emails, process card payments and look up addresses. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
• with the crew members and partners who carry out your move for us
• when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public
• with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized

None of this sharing includes text messaging opt-in data or consent, which stays with us and our messaging service providers.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep the business and tax records the law requires, then delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and only people who need it to serve you can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
• Update your contact details in your customer portal profile, or ask us to.
• Contact us to see the information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We may keep what we are required to by law.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
