SMS Terms

These terms cover text messages from Oscar's Moving Company, LLC (“we”, “us”) to customers who agree to receive them.

What we text about

Texts are about your move with us:

  • quotes and estimates you asked for
  • booking confirmations and scheduling updates
  • reminders before your move, including requests to confirm the day before
  • payment receipts and reminders
  • a request for feedback after your move
  • replies to texts you send us

We don't send marketing or promotional texts.

How you sign up

You agree to texts by ticking the texting box on our quote request form or in your customer portal profile. Agreeing is optional and is not a condition of purchase. We record when you agreed, the number you gave, and the wording you agreed to. Texts come from (978) 310-2966.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your move, typically a few texts around each quote and move date. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. We don't charge for texts.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work). You'll get one message confirming you've opted out and no further texts. To start again, reply START. Opting out doesn't affect your move: we'll reach you by phone or email instead.

Reply HELP to any text for help, or contact us using the details below.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage.

Who sends the texts

We use MoveCrafter, a software platform for moving companies, as our service provider to send and receive texts and keep a record of them. MoveCrafter acts on our behalf and does not use your number for its own purposes.

Privacy

We don't share your mobile number or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed.
